Comments This proprietary selection from France is Gros Manseng Guillaume selection G1 from Pepiniere Guillaume in Charcenne, France. It was imported in 2008 and is distributed through Guillaume Grapevine Nursery and its licensees.

Comments This selection was donated to the Foundation Plant Services public collection in 2010 by Tablas Creek Vineyards in Paso Robles, California. Gros Manseng FPS 02 is reported to be from a unique source vine in France. The original mother plants for this Tablas Creek vineyard selection were imported through the Geneva, New York, quarantine program in the 1980's. Gros Manseng FPS 02 successfully completed disease testing for the California Grapevine Registration & Certification Program in 2012. The original material underwent microshoot tip tissue culture therapy at FPS in 2012 and qualified for the Russell Ranch Foundation Vineyard in 2015.

Comments This proprietary selection was imported to Foundation Plant Services in 2012 from IFV in France. The plant material is official French clone 397, which originated in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques region of France. The ENTAV catalogue indicates that the clone yields dry and sweet wines that are typical and fine. Gros Manseng 397 successfully completed testing to qualify for the FPS foundation vineyard in 2013. Gros Manseng 397 will be distributed by ENTAV licensees.
