Comments This selection was imported in 2009 to Foundation Plant Services by Tablas Creek Vineyards in Paso Robles, California. The plant material originated from Château de Beaucastel in France. Courbu blanc is a white grape from the Jurançon region of France. The original material successfully completed testing in 2012 to qualify for the California Grapevine Registration & Certification Program. The selection underwent microshoot tip tissue culture therapy at FPS in 2010. The treated material successfully completed testing in 2014 to qualify for the Russell Ranch Foundation Vineyard, where it will be planted as Courbu blanc 01.1. Courbu blanc 01.1 is a proprietary selection that will become available to the public in 2016. In the meantime, inquiries as to the availability of Courbu blanc 01.1 should be directed to Novavine Grapevine Nursery in Sonoma County, California
