Comments The Republic of Georgia is the home to over 500 grape cultivars and the earliest archeological evidence of grape domestication. Rkatsiteli is one of the most ancient varieties in Georgia. The white wine grape is widely planted and very useful for many wine styles.

This is one of five selections (FPS 01-05) that arrived at the same time. It was first planted in the Foundation Plant Services foundation vineyard in 1968.
