Orig. at Fresno, California, by D.W. Ramming, USDA Hort. Crops Res. Lab. Introduced in 1988. Fruit: large; skin bright red on yellow ground color; flesh yellow, firm, semi-clingstone; good quality; ripens evenly; stores well; aromatic flavor; very good storage potential . A very popular cultivar in California. Ripens with Friar. Flowers are self-infertile, requires a pollinator; blooms with Santa Rosa. Trees are moderately vigorous, upright to slightly spreading. |
