Orig. in Parlier, Fresno County, Calif., by C. O. Hesse. Cross made in 1969; tested as 9.27-58. An early maturing Japanese plum. Fruit: medium; red to dark, red skin color at maturity; excellent eating quality. Tree: vigorous, upright-spreading. Outstanding characteristic: early maturity of its fruit, 2-3 days earlier than Red Beaut. |
