A USDA release, David W. Ramming named this plum for ARS Hall of Fame honoree John H. Weinberger a long time USDA tree-fruit and grape breeder. Fruit is slightly oval with medium to large size. Skin is purple-red with speckles and flesh is orange with a firm texture. Trees bloom late and growth is upright to slightly spreading and are good producers. |
